New Old-Fashioned Family Fun
Our goal is to bring joy and laughter and a chance to make festive family memories. Our team began it's mission in 2010 with a family oriented, comic, musical variety show filled with zany costumed characters. By 2014 we had added some pioneer themed activities and stilt walkers. A few years ago we created a few classic skill games, and then we just kept adding.
Today we offer many combinations our of hysterical, historical, hands-on fun at fairs, festivals and other special events .

This performing family sings, acts, and brings to life all of the experiences of life in the 1880's. The Mesenbergs work so well together as they move through 30 minutes of their fast paced show. And if that's not enough, after the show they provide an array of activities where young and old alike can search for gold or harvest the garden or even dress up in period costumes.

"Our three kids played for over an hour at the Pioneer Experience. We couldn't believe how much fun they had at no cost, plus they even learned a good lesson about how things were back in the 1800's. There are so many different kinds of activities for kids and grown ups too. It was amazing at how much energy the little family of three people put into making this a wonderful experience. They were patient teachers, while somehow remaining silly and fun. "

"Our family just attended the fair this past Sunday. We had previous plans for the day but because it was free this year we thought we should stop by and check it out with our two girls. We rode a couple rides, hung out at the petting zoo, watched the circus act. "Pretty funny" but the highlight of the day was the Pioneer Experience. I thought for sure our 11 year old would enjoy mining for gems, milking a cow and crafting a hat but I never expected our 1 yr old would collect eggs, harvest the garden and enjoy the suds from the wash room. Watching them pull the wagon around to exchange their goods at the general store was an amazing way of teaching them how things were in those days. I found it really neat how this family put all this together. My girls were there for over two hours and I think we spent two dollar's and it was to just replace materials for the next kiddo so we could take home a keepsake. My daughter went home with her treasures and talked about it the rest of the day! I hope to see them again next time the fair's around!"
